Somebody's Saviour
He hasn't mentioned that he stopped off to put an angry spirit out of its misery on the way back from his two-day mini-roadtrip. He doesn't mention it because he doesn't want Cas to ask him why they didn't go together. Dean knows the answer will upset the other man, so instead he's bringing back supplies for what's going to be more freedom for Cas and some time they can use to look over the books he's picked up. He hasn't told Cas just how many libraries he's scoured since the wings appeared, but that's not important anyway. What's important is that he needs the answer.

When he steps foot through the door it's as he's slipping his cell back into his pocket. As much as he's not going to say it where anyone else can see or hear it, he's missed Cas too. But that much is obvious in the smile he's wearing as he sets his sights on the other man.

"Did I ever play you that song by Aerosmith?" He knows Cas didn't understand his reference from before, but he can probably change that by digging out the cassette he buried somewhere at the back of his collection.

It'd only taken a matter or minutes for Castiel to pack everything up. The promise of being able to go somewhere he doesn't need to keep himself covered up so much is a break he's more than ready for right about now. He'd only been outside for a few hours that day, and he can already feel the ache born from keeping his wings bound to his back. It'd been the only solution he could think of while stuck in the motel room.

It hadn't helped that he'd been stuck there alone either. With Dean disappearing off on some unknown task, Castiel had had no choice by to try and preoccupy himself. It'd only gotten harder as the hours went by. So when he first hears the sounds of Dean making his entrance, he's off the bed and practically at the door.

"What song?" The question is all but muffled by Dean's neck as Castiel wraps himself around the man, arms clinging tightly at his waist. He's a little more open about just how much he's missed Dean, and thankfully being in the room means he doesn't need to worry about keeping it hidden.

The sound of air squeezed from his lungs is testament enough to how tight Cas's arms are around him. He doesn't attempt to loosen them though, just wraps his own arms around the other man in return, even if it's a little harder now thanks to the wings on his back.

"I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." He only replies when he's managed to get a little more oxygen into his lungs, but it's enough to widen his smile. He's never quite managed to relate to the song until now.

"I don't think I know it." It's the same deal as before, though this time, he's nuzzling Dean's neck a little too. It's only now that he's back that Castiel realizes just how on edge he's been the past few days. He feel safe now. Comfortable. It's the only place he ever wants to be.

"Are we leaving right now or can we..." He pulls back a little then, going for actions instead of words. He presses his lips to Dean's, the kiss almost greedy on his side. He's missed Dean far too much.

This is the only part of being away from Cas that makes it worth it. The welcome he gets when he returns. It's why he doesn't answer straight away. His plans involve leaving as soon as possible, but he's not sure he can deny either of them what Cas has on his mind.

The lack of breath from earlier means that when he finally pulls back from the kiss he's breathless. It's yet another reason he doesn't say no, just leans back in for more of the same after a couple of much needed gasps of air.

Smiling into the kiss briefly, Castiel at least has the foresight to loosen his hold. But only just. It's still tight enough that when he starts to lead the way toward the bed, he doesn't let go of Dean. Not until he needs to pull away; just long enough for him to look backwards so he doesn't fall. He's done that once already since his wings returned, and it was enough of a warning as to just how much feeling he has in his new appendages.

"Just for a little while. Please?"

"I didn't say no." Dean replies with a grin, now taking on a more mischievous expression. He still doesn't know how to say no to this kind of request. Not from Cas, anyway. He's done pretty well saying no to other people so far though.

He still hasn't sat down though, not when he can grind his hips forward until he's breathless for a whole other reason.

He bites his tongue at the sudden movement, but it's not enough to keep a quiet moan from escaping him. Instead of just going with it though, he tries to turn them around, knowing that there isn't much of a choice anymore in how this goes. Castiel can't lie on his back. It also gives him the space to be able to slide his coat off, ignoring just where it drops in favor of tugging at the knot of material tied around his chest. It'd taken massacring a sheet to be able to bind his wings tightly enough against his back for him to go out. But now he has the opportunity to free them for a while, he wants to. It still hurts to keep them where they are. It's only when the knot isn't co-operating with him that he gives up in favor of stepping forward for yet another kiss. Better to just take what he wants instead.

It's only thanks to the breaths he needs that he notices where Cas's hands are going. And then dropping away from. He decides he can at least help with this, and whatever else comes after. His fingers are tugging at the knot to try and release those wings even as his lips are otherwise engaged again. He can multi-task when it comes to this. Prides himself on it, in fact.

His hands are already tugging on Dean's jacket by the time his wings spring free, and it's thanks to his new-found freedom that he lets out another moan. This time of relief, even as they flop against the ground. He breaks off the kiss, offering up a grateful smile, before redoubling his efforts to try and get Dean a little less dressed.

Shrugging his jacket off the second the knot falls away in two pieces, Dean doesn't help when his hands try to pull Cas closer again giving him less than no space to get some more of his clothes away. It's not that he doesn't want to be naked. He does, very much. He just doesn't want to relinquish any of that closeness between them either. It's his way of not saying how much he's missed the guy.

He huffs out an annoyed sound at that; not all that impressed by unhelpful Dean's being. He isn't upset by it though. Not when it means he's able to be that close to him again.

"Don't do that again, okay? Don't leave me on my own." Especially not after some of the talks they had when their roles were reversed.

"I had to--" His sentence disappears the second he decides that his mouth could be used another way. It's not that he's avoiding answering. He's intending on saying he can't make promises like that. Not if they're only talking short-term. But he has no intention of leaving Cas alone for a while.

His lips end up under Cas's jaw, soft at first, the faintest brush of bristles tickling until he switches tactics. He presses forward harder then, mouth opening up to increase the suction against Cas's skin.

He knows that Dean's avoiding answering, but the distraction he's providing works exactly as planned. He even goes as far as to tilt his head a little, giving Dean whatever access he wants. His own hands move back to the hem of Dean's shirt, fingers sliding underneath the material so they can brush against skin.

"...not playing fair." Which is the excuse he uses for letting one of his legs slides forward to press between Dean's and tug himself close.

"You want me to stop and talk?" He's speaking against Cas's skin, the corners of his lips already curving upwards. He doesn't think Cas wants him to play fair when they're doing this. It's why he manages to leave a mark on the other man's neck before his lips lose their suction thanks to the groan that slides out from between them. The leg Cas has slid between his own is distracting.

"Bed." He wants to get on it without hurting Cas's wings, so it's more of an invitation to give Cas a chance to get comfortable than anything else.

"You know that's not what I want." He finally manages to step away, not wasting any time before he gets to work on getting the rest of his clothes off. He wants them out of the way so Dean wont question just where his mind is headed right now. Yet again though, he has to grab ahold of one of Dean's hands to keep himself from falling over when it comes to getting his feet free. Only then does he look back at the man.

"I think you need to take the rest of your clothes off and lie down." Meanwhile, he's going back off to dig out a certain, well-used supply from his bag.
