Somebody's Saviour

He hasn't mentioned that he stopped off to put an angry spirit out of its misery on the way back from his two-day mini-roadtrip. He doesn't mention it because he doesn't want Cas to ask him why they didn't go together. Dean knows the answer will upset the other man, so instead he's bringing back supplies for what's going to be more freedom for Cas and some time they can use to look over the books he's picked up. He hasn't told Cas just how many libraries he's scoured since the wings appeared, but that's not important anyway. What's important is that he needs the answer.

When he steps foot through the door it's as he's slipping his cell back into his pocket. As much as he's not going to say it where anyone else can see or hear it, he's missed Cas too. But that much is obvious in the smile he's wearing as he sets his sights on the other man.

"Did I ever play you that song by Aerosmith?" He knows Cas didn't understand his reference from before, but he can probably change that by digging out the cassette he buried somewhere at the back of his collection.

"You think they'd suit me? Dude, we're talking about wings. Not what shade brings the color in my eyes out." Which he's been told a thousand times by various different girls all looking for a good time. It's a random memory that he pushes away the second Cas is back on top of him.

"I know I don't have to." It's true for almost everything they do that isn't specifically related to the Apocalypse. That part he knows he has less than no choice if he wants to be able to live with himself. The rest is all optional, including what they're doing now. Except he knows that it's not. It's what's keeping him getting up in the mornings. It's how far he's subscribed to Cas's ideal outcome without actually having to say it.

"It'll give us some room to figure out what we're gonna do about it."

ooc: ...like air?!

"Dean, I'd think anything suits you, simply because it's you. That, and I may be a little biased. There are certain things I'd be able to show you." He has a grin on his face now, even as he sits himself back upright and folds his own wings flat against his back again. Instead of explaining himself though, he looks back across the room and down toward their clothes.

"How long will it take to get there?"

ooc; Exactly!

"If we leave now? Few hours." What he means is he can use the highways if they're traveling while it's dark. Otherwise it means taking a bunch of backroads and extending their journey far beyond what he thinks is reasonable. But he's too caught up on what the grin was about to really answer with any interest.

"What things?"

ooc: ...of course. You're exactly like air.

"Then perhaps we should leave." He punctuates his sentence with a quick kiss to Dean's chest. Then he's climbing back off of the man, heading over to pick up the piece of cloth he's been using to tie his wings down. Instead of attempting the annoying task of getting the material in the right place, he holds it out toward Dean in a silent request.

"Maybe once we get there I can show you. Otherwise we may never leave."

ooc; You can't breaaaathe without me.

"Please tell me it's because it's dirty." Dean's already following the second Cas is getting up off the bed. It's not so much because he wants to, but the other man's body is warm and naked and he's still not ready to give that up for the car journey yet.

He takes the cloth and waits for the answer he's hoping for. He has very little self-control when it comes to Cas, but the fact he knows he's going to be able to give the other man a little more freedom is enough to keep his hands from roaming anywhere but around his torso as he ties the wings up.

ooc: How intense.

"Wings are...sensitive. Or at least, mine always were. It's something that's been transferred to these too." It's why he doesn't like having them tied up as much as he has over the past couple of days. But it'd been the only option he'd had if he wanted to go outside.

He takes a moment to make sure the bindings are as comfortable as possible, before he's stepping forward again to give Dean another kiss. He keeps it brief though before he's back to searching for their underwear, reluctantly handing over Dean's once he's found them.

ooc; Just the way you like it.

Raising his eyebrows as he thinks that part over, Dean takes his boxers back in silence. He's still trying to think through how that would work. He knows where to touch most parts of a human's anatomy and make it feel good. But wings? He's kinda lost on those. It's something he specifically makes a note to learn more about when they reach the cabin.

Pulling his underwear on, he knows it's going to be an uncomfortable ride. He knows an extra five minutes showering won't make much difference, but if Cas wants to shower too, that's a whole new ballgame. For starters, they have to try and keep his wings out of the water. He decides against it just because he doesn't want to be unfair.

"More sensitive than your dick?" It's after a few minutes silence that he asks and gives away the fact that he hasn't been successful in putting it out of his mind for now.

ooc: Is that right?

A shower is the last thing on his mind right now. He just wants to get to the cabin so he can untie his wings again. It's only been a few moments, but it's already more than enough. He tugs his underwear on; a task made slightly more difficult by the fact he can't bend his back too much. But he still manages just in time to find himself getting caught off-guard by Dean's question. It's one that makes him laugh a little first.

"We'll have to find out." It's as close as he's getting to saying out loud that he doesn't mind Dean touching him there. He means it every time that he says it; every part of him belongs to Dean. And now there's more of him, the wings are included too.

ooc; Well, clearly.

"Yeah. I guess we will." He's already managed to get his jeans found and on his body by the time Cas is answering his question. He's yet to find his shirt and overshirt though. Leaving half-naked isn't an option considering they're trying to be subtle.

"You seen my--" He stops midway through because he sees it, being his shirt, hanging half over one of the lamps. It's with slight confusion that he extracts it from the light and pulls it on. He doesn't remember throwing it that far. All that's left is helping Cas get his own clothes on. The bags are already packed and they're good to go.

ooc: And you're basing this on...?

He waits for Dean to be finished dressing before holding out his own jeans, a sheepish look on his face. He doesn't want to try and pull them on while Dean's right there to help him. So as embarrassing as it may be to ask for help, that's exactly what he does.

"There really wont be anyone else around?" At the cabin, he means. Despite the way the weather's turning, he wants to be able to walk outside without all the covering's he's forced to use. And if that means having to wait until whatever other people around them disappear, he wants that warning ahead of time.

ooc; Experience.

"Nobody." His answer comes from Cas's feet, already down there trying to get his feet in each hole of his jeans. He doesn't mind doing this considering he spent years teaching Sam how to get dressed properly. And given that Cas has two huge wings to content with, he doesn't resent having to help out.

"Just gonna be you and me."

ooc: Bull.

His smile slides back easily at that, and he drops his hands to Dean's shoulders, using them as support as he lifts each foot to try and help. He waits until Dean's almost done before he's pressing close to the man again, his arms winding around his waist and squeezing tightly. He nuzzles back against Dean's neck again, a few kisses being placed there too.

"This really does mean a lot to me, Dean. More than I can really explain."

ooc; Denial.

Holding the other man's jeans up with one hand, Dean lifts his jaw automatically the second Cas starts nuzzling there. It's warmth that he likes, and the feel of his lips always make him feel slightly fuzzy.

"I know." It's all he says before he starts to fasten the button and pull the zipper up blind, making extra sure everything's tucked inside before he does.

ooc: What. I don't know what you're talking about.

He continues on his path, making it to Dean's chin and nipping on it softly. It's only then that he pulls back, licking his lips as he does so. He doesn't move beyond that for a long while; instead just looking back at Dean, his expression softening with each moment.

"Let's go." He still has his coat to put on, but that wont take any time at all. It's one thing he's had practice while.

ooc; Exactly.

"I was ready an hour ago." But then things happened and he's not really complaining about that. Not even a little bit. The grin proves that much so when he finally pulls away from Cas he knows they're going to leave both as happy as each other. It's rare that he feels this unburdened and he's not sure whether that's more to do with the orgasm he just had or because he knows he's giving Cas something he really wants. It may be a combination of both.

He picks up both their bags knowing that Cas will have to slip into his coat before he thinks about going anywhere. The least he can do is load up the car.

ooc: You make no sense.
