Somebody's Saviour
He hasn't mentioned that he stopped off to put an angry spirit out of its misery on the way back from his two-day mini-roadtrip. He doesn't mention it because he doesn't want Cas to ask him why they didn't go together. Dean knows the answer will upset the other man, so instead he's bringing back supplies for what's going to be more freedom for Cas and some time they can use to look over the books he's picked up. He hasn't told Cas just how many libraries he's scoured since the wings appeared, but that's not important anyway. What's important is that he needs the answer.

When he steps foot through the door it's as he's slipping his cell back into his pocket. As much as he's not going to say it where anyone else can see or hear it, he's missed Cas too. But that much is obvious in the smile he's wearing as he sets his sights on the other man.

"Did I ever play you that song by Aerosmith?" He knows Cas didn't understand his reference from before, but he can probably change that by digging out the cassette he buried somewhere at the back of his collection.

A shower is the last thing on his mind right now. He just wants to get to the cabin so he can untie his wings again. It's only been a few moments, but it's already more than enough. He tugs his underwear on; a task made slightly more difficult by the fact he can't bend his back too much. But he still manages just in time to find himself getting caught off-guard by Dean's question. It's one that makes him laugh a little first.

"We'll have to find out." It's as close as he's getting to saying out loud that he doesn't mind Dean touching him there. He means it every time that he says it; every part of him belongs to Dean. And now there's more of him, the wings are included too.

ooc; Well, clearly.

"Yeah. I guess we will." He's already managed to get his jeans found and on his body by the time Cas is answering his question. He's yet to find his shirt and overshirt though. Leaving half-naked isn't an option considering they're trying to be subtle.

"You seen my--" He stops midway through because he sees it, being his shirt, hanging half over one of the lamps. It's with slight confusion that he extracts it from the light and pulls it on. He doesn't remember throwing it that far. All that's left is helping Cas get his own clothes on. The bags are already packed and they're good to go.

ooc: And you're basing this on...?

He waits for Dean to be finished dressing before holding out his own jeans, a sheepish look on his face. He doesn't want to try and pull them on while Dean's right there to help him. So as embarrassing as it may be to ask for help, that's exactly what he does.

"There really wont be anyone else around?" At the cabin, he means. Despite the way the weather's turning, he wants to be able to walk outside without all the covering's he's forced to use. And if that means having to wait until whatever other people around them disappear, he wants that warning ahead of time.

ooc; Experience.

"Nobody." His answer comes from Cas's feet, already down there trying to get his feet in each hole of his jeans. He doesn't mind doing this considering he spent years teaching Sam how to get dressed properly. And given that Cas has two huge wings to content with, he doesn't resent having to help out.

"Just gonna be you and me."

ooc: Bull.

His smile slides back easily at that, and he drops his hands to Dean's shoulders, using them as support as he lifts each foot to try and help. He waits until Dean's almost done before he's pressing close to the man again, his arms winding around his waist and squeezing tightly. He nuzzles back against Dean's neck again, a few kisses being placed there too.

"This really does mean a lot to me, Dean. More than I can really explain."

ooc; Denial.

Holding the other man's jeans up with one hand, Dean lifts his jaw automatically the second Cas starts nuzzling there. It's warmth that he likes, and the feel of his lips always make him feel slightly fuzzy.

"I know." It's all he says before he starts to fasten the button and pull the zipper up blind, making extra sure everything's tucked inside before he does.

ooc: What. I don't know what you're talking about.

He continues on his path, making it to Dean's chin and nipping on it softly. It's only then that he pulls back, licking his lips as he does so. He doesn't move beyond that for a long while; instead just looking back at Dean, his expression softening with each moment.

"Let's go." He still has his coat to put on, but that wont take any time at all. It's one thing he's had practice while.

ooc; Exactly.

"I was ready an hour ago." But then things happened and he's not really complaining about that. Not even a little bit. The grin proves that much so when he finally pulls away from Cas he knows they're going to leave both as happy as each other. It's rare that he feels this unburdened and he's not sure whether that's more to do with the orgasm he just had or because he knows he's giving Cas something he really wants. It may be a combination of both.

He picks up both their bags knowing that Cas will have to slip into his coat before he thinks about going anywhere. The least he can do is load up the car.

ooc: You make no sense.

"I wasn't." The grin is returned moments before Castiel pulls away and heads over to collect his coat. He slips an arm in, having to reach over his back to grab the edge of the material and yank it over to the other side. It's just as clumsy to do as it looks, but he still manages to get his coat on in the end. It's only then that he takes the time to make sure none of his feathers are caught.

With that done, and one last check of the room...and collection of the lube, he follows out after Dean.

ooc; No, you're just dumb.

"Yeah. I know that now." It's said half over his shoulder because, as always, he wants to check they're as alone as they can be for the short walk to his car. They don't want to give the game away before they've even left for this secluded cabin.

Bags slung over his shoulder now he steps out into the darkness and heads over to where he knows his car is. The bags go in the trunk to give Cas the entire backseat if he wants it. He just doesn't say that much because he's not willing to make a big deal out of it.

ooc: If making out I'm dumb makes you feel better, go right ahead. *pats*

Closing the door behind himself, Castiel makes his way over to the car, mindful of just where he's walking. He's already packed his shoes away, even now they're still something he's uncomfortable wearing. It takes him a while to make it to Dean's side again, but when he does, he's left staring between the two doors. It's only after giving a slightly frustrated sigh that he pulls the rear door open and peers inside. He doesn't climb in just yet though.

"Dean, I haven't eaten since you left. Can we pick up something to eat along the way?"

ooc; That was a really lame comeback.

The look he shoots in Cas's direction is only surprised because he's not sure how the other man hasn't figured out that's the first thing he's intending to stop for once they're on the road.

"Well, yeah. You thought I was gonna starve until we got there?" He's teasing more than anything now, trying to take the sting out of knowing Cas isn't going to like having to ride in the backseat again. Truthfully, he misses the company up front too.

ooc: So was that.

He rolls his eyes at that before turning his attention back to the car again, still staring at the seats. Eventually though, he changes his mind. If they're not going far just yet, he wants to see if he can handle dealing with a little less space.

Heading round to the passenger side door, Castiel tugs it open, but it still takes a few moments for him to work out how to get in. He ends up having to sit at an angle; his smile only coming back when he's leaning toward the drivers seat. It isn't comfortable though, and he doubts anything he does right now will change it, short of lying on his front. But he doesn't want that right now. He wants to be able to see Dean while they're driving.

ooc; Mine wasn't a comeback. It was a statement of truth.

Watching Cas head around front, he's still trying not to make a big deal out of it. He gives the other man a couple of minutes to get himself into the car before he follows, eyes immediately trailing over towards the passenger side.

"What food you feelin'?" It's still got nothing to do with the angle Cas is having to sit at. He knows it's better this way.

ooc: Yours is never a comeback.

As soon as Dean's climbed in, Castiel moves a little further, resting his forehead against his shoulder. It's far from ideal, but he isn't entirely sure that he'd fit if he attempted to curl on the seat again.

"I'm not sure. Whatever's going to take the least amount of time to cook. Unless we can just go to a convenience store? That would be quicker. And we'd be able to get food for however long we'll be at the cabin."

ooc; I know. It's always the truth.
