Somebody's Saviour

He hasn't mentioned that he stopped off to put an angry spirit out of its misery on the way back from his two-day mini-roadtrip. He doesn't mention it because he doesn't want Cas to ask him why they didn't go together. Dean knows the answer will upset the other man, so instead he's bringing back supplies for what's going to be more freedom for Cas and some time they can use to look over the books he's picked up. He hasn't told Cas just how many libraries he's scoured since the wings appeared, but that's not important anyway. What's important is that he needs the answer.

When he steps foot through the door it's as he's slipping his cell back into his pocket. As much as he's not going to say it where anyone else can see or hear it, he's missed Cas too. But that much is obvious in the smile he's wearing as he sets his sights on the other man.

"Did I ever play you that song by Aerosmith?" He knows Cas didn't understand his reference from before, but he can probably change that by digging out the cassette he buried somewhere at the back of his collection.

He just smiles again, before lifting their hands up so he can press his lips to the back of Dean's, nuzzling against it softly. He keeps it held to his face when he turns to look back up at the man again. "Do you think you'll need to sleep when we get there?"

ooc; See. A match made in heaven. Literally.

"Nah." Not when he knows what's on offer when they get there. Sleep will come later when they're done eating off of each other. He's happy to sacrifice a few hours just for that. He's happy to sacrifice a lot, when he thinks about it.

"We've got plans when we get there. Sleepin' ain't one of them."

ooc: ...I see what you did there. No Merlin tonight? Bwaha.

Nodding slightly, he drops their hands again so Dean's shoulder levels out. It gives him the perfect place to rest his head again as he turns his attention to the view ahead of them.

"I think I may get some sleep before we arrive then. I wouldn't want to fall asleep the moment we get there."

ooc; I'm watching it on iPlayer live. :3 Or was. I got distracted by it.

"Yeah. You should. I'll wake you up when we get there." Mostly because there's no chance he'll be able to carry Cas inside the cabin with the wings. And he doesn't want to leave him alone in the car.

"Swear I won't eat all the food either."

ooc: Me too. That felt like a filler ep. Possibly because there wasn't enough Merlin in it.

"I hope not. I don't think you'd be able to fill me up for very long." He scrunches his nose at that, rethinking his words. "I don't mean it like that. Just make sure you don't eat it all." And a huff. Certain things really are better left unsaid. And he knows that Dean will keep to his word, if only because of just how much the man seems to worry about his wellbeing.

"Will you wake me up nicely?"

ooc; I actually didn't mind certain bits of that episode as much. But I'm really done with the fart jokes.

He's cracking up by the time Cas actually asks his question, so it takes him a minute to get to a place where he can actually speak. It's not that he's laughing at Cas, but he mostly is.

"I'll wake you up the best way I know." Which is also the filthiest way, but he knows Cas won't be complaining.

ooc: HAHA. It's a kids' show, dude. The fart jokes are for the kids who think it's hilarious.

He'd be more put out by the fact Dean is laughing at him if he wasn't already used to being the cause of the mans amusement so often. He knows better than to be hurt by it, so instead, he just waits it out, only slightly annoyed that his makeshift pillow is shaking beneath him.

"I'm sure you will. Just don't let me hit anything." Or rather, hit Dean or damage the car. He's already managed to destroy a fair few lamps, chairs and cabinets over the days since he got his wings. Having Dean wake him up though shouldn't leave things ending as badly.

ooc; It's a family show, and even kids are beyond fart jokes by now.

Still smiling thanks to the amusement, he stops moving in favor of going back to being a decent pillow for the other man. They only have another hour and a half to drive, but he's sure that Cas needs this, so he'll act as pillow, driver and protector while he's asleep.

ooc: Fart jokes never get old with the younger kids.

He shifts over a little further, getting himself as comfortable as he can. He's nowhere near warm at the moment, which is why he has no second thoughts about burrowing in as closely as he can. His eyes close again quickly enough, and there's a mumbled "love you" hidden amongst a sigh as he settles himself down to sleep.

ooc; You know the wrong young kids. Also this ooc note seems more relevant to you than me.

"Love you too." It's rough sounding, but that's not because he doesn't mean it. He's just trying not to sound like a girl, something that's almost impossible considering how much he feels like one right now. He's knows they both need this break, even if he does want to figure out the wings issue.

ooc: That's fine with me! :D Dean's drunken post can come later. Most likely tomorrow evening when I'm actually in.

It takes a lot less time than he wants before he slips off to sleep, his hand loosening its hold as he does. His entire body ends up slumped against Dean's side, face almost squashed against his shoulder and held in place by the seat back. It's been a while since he had a proper nights sleep, and now that he has Dean right there next to him, there really is nothing holding him back.

ooc; Alrighty. I'll go add that there. :3

Driving without conscious company isn't something Dean's completely unfamiliar with. He's driven further with only his own company, so the warmth at his side is a comfort in itself, even if he's glad he's the only person in the car that realizes that.

The rest of the journey passes without incident, so when he's pulling up outside the secluded cabin, he's relaxed and, better still, still in a good mood.

"Cas." His voice stays quiet even though it sounds loud now the engine is off. He's not just using that to give Cas the wakeup he wants. Once he's managed to twist his own body to accommodate what he wants to do next, he grins, lips already pressed to the top of the other man's head and one of his hands heading downwards. It doesn't stop until he's reached a button and a zipper. It's easy enough to get the front of Cas's pants open, and then easier still to press that hand inside, fingers seeking out the warmth of the other man's cock. This is just the start of Cas's wakeup call.

ooc: Why thank you. You're like a RP pimp.

He's still fast asleep as Dean stops the car, and the moment he starts to move, Castiel tries to curl in closer against the man. He only stops at the press of lips, his breathing evening out again as he settles back down. It's something that only lasts for a few moments however. The second that Dean's hand makes its way into his pants, a quiet whimper escapes him. And yet, somehow, he's still sleeping through it all. So far.

ooc; Someone has to do the grunt work. >>

The whimper is all he needs to keep going, the fact that Cas still hasn't woken up yet making him feel guilty. He's tempted to pull his hand back and just sit in the car, okay with being a pillow for as long as the other man needs to sleep, but he knows Cas'll probably be pissed with him if he does that. So he keeps going, his entire hand and wrist now obscured from view by Cas's pants and the top of his shirt, fingers sliding loosely and slowly at first up and down the length of his dick.

ooc: Much appreciated. <3

It isn't long before his hips start to move of their own accord, rising up and down with each pass of Dean's hand. His mouth hangs open now, breath coming in soft pants, and his head rolling backwards to rest against the seat. He's caught in that place between being awake and asleep, and while he knows he should be taking that final step, he doesn't seem to be making it. Not until a moan pushes free. There's only the slightest stuttering of his hips as his eyes slip open, taking a moment to try and focus on the man beside him. He only barely manages to make contact before his eyes squeeze shut again, but for a very different reason.

ooc; Creep. << I think I need to head to bed now, so I'll catch you in the morning. Night!
